I live in Bristol, but I really love Spain. So, I went to visit Madrid last Christmas. I hoped to see its Christmas decorations and its typical monuments.

But what I felt was exhaustion indeed!! The streets were full of people. And I couldn’t find a  free tour to show me the city. 

So, I ended up visiting its cathedral and the surrounding area. And missed the rest of the city.

I have the opportunity to visit it next May for San Isidro’s feasts. How can I improve my next journey there? I would thank your advice! I really love the city and its people, but I have no clue what to do.
